I think Anki looks great for its purpose. If you get stimulated by all the colour etc. you can't focus on learning. Part of why people are having so much trouble studying, while our parents didn't is because of the ever increasing opticoacoustic stimulation from the content we consume everyday.

pokemanki single handedly saved my gpa - you get a new pokémon for each deck you make, and as you make progress through the deck is levels up your pokémon!! it’s SO CUTE
