Thank you for speaking out. I heard maga talking mean at the bar yesterday about the half time show and liberal people (AKA me) and I didn’t know what to do. I internalized the shock and anger I felt until I had to leave. I know calling them out isn’t going to change the way they think/feel and is only going to cause a scene that might get my hubby in a fight trying to defend me. So I just left.🥺 I didn’t know what to do with the pain and anger I felt until I heard your message. You see, I’m of Hispanic descent but look white. So they felt emboldened to speak the way they were cuz they thought they were surrounded by others that are likeminded. NOw I know how to release the pain I feel. Give back. Give back to the communities that care about humanity. 🥰🥰🥰 Also, it just gave me MORE incentive to vote. I usually ignore primaries that don’t have a president on the ballot. NEVER AGAIN will I shirk my duties as citizen of this town, state and country.
