My commute on the Metra are my two favorite parts of my day. Gives me an opportunity to set the tone for the day, listen to music, catch up on news, practice gratitude, and a chance to unwind before getting home. It is what you make it!

I stopped for two years and drove downtown waisted so much money but I needed a break now I only go downtown twice a week so I take the train. Switch it up drive some days if you’re losing it

I did it four years for high school. My dad did it for 20 plus before Covid and now he’s started up again. Reading, headphones, sleeping.

took Metra for almost 40 years always walking to the suburban train station from home. It was a good routine and I seldom worried about weather. Since I started working downtown winter of 78 79 any and all weather problems were a breeze.
