Pro tip. Whenever you apologize for something, you should never follow it up with an excuse for the action that you are apologizing for. It makes it seem disingenuous. just take ownership without the excuses and move on. I for one was offended by it, but I have forgiven you and I’m moving on.

I have to travel 5hrs to my transplant center and I know you live several hours away also. Do you have to stay close to the hospital once you are discharged? I was told I have to plan to stay close to the transplant hospital for upto 3 months before I get to go back home.
