@awe.austin: Humanity before ANYTHING else. A tree doesn't care who picks its fruit. Its branches will shade anyone in need. You don't need to have been born around or underneath the tree, it supports all life regardless. It knows nothing of your skin color or where you come from. But what does a tree know about politics anyway... My grandmothers house always has food. Cooking, just cooked, or an abundance of fruits on the rare occasion she is away. She always told me "in this house, anyone who's hungry may eat". She wasn't just referring to family, she would feed any mouth in need. But what does my grandmother know about politics anyway. To live in a state of inclusion, where your actions are not just able to benefit you, but unconditionally those around you, is a pure form of love. It's humanity. It's time we spark our humanity and invest in your community. When inhumane forces are rampant, the support and care you yourself can carry through to your surroundings can be inspiring, motivating, and fuel efforts for a cause. (I avoid being specific for the sake of not being hidden from the algorithm out, speak up, give back to community selflessly, and at the bare minimum, allow yourself to see your brother, mother, sister, or father, In a stranger. #fyp #mexican #ice #fashion
