My husband was in Afghanistan in 2012. I’ve asked him a lot about how the people were generally, and he won’t/cant answer me, so I don’t push. Can you tell me what the Afghani people were like? As in, were they generally nice, were they afraid, were they happy to see y’all? Also, is the thing about the goats really true?

I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series as my son reads them for the first time. Then we watch the movie together after he finishes the book. It has been such a fun way to spend some time together.

You have such a great attitude with all of the things you have been through-and the fact you got that if the injury hadn’t happened you wouldn’t have your kids-people forget that the bad shit sometimes leads to the best things ever.
