@metalmanonline: Jeep 3.8 misfire caused by some of the worst spark plug wires I’ve seen. They were like disintegrating in my hand! No wonder they didn’t work! What would you do in this distraction though? Was what I did the right move??? ##mechanic##jeep##diagnosis##checkenginelight##carsoftiktokcontest

Sparkplugs can be so expensive, i just spend 750 bucks on sparkplugs/wires/coils on my Tesla Model Y. According to the shop i was lucky to come in on time because they were about to fail. And to think i just came in for wiper blades!

Wouldn’t hurt to run some seafoam through it or a good catalytic converter cleaner

I wish you were in my area tbh. we have one shop in town i trust but they get so busy during the summer they can be two months out! I've been arguing with my SUV lately, one thing after another has failed and it's frustrating to have to wait two months to get it fixed.

Just tell the customer that although the immediate repair is just one wire, the rest of the ignition is about ready to fall out / expire based on miles and you'll likely end up being back anyway
