@sydneesaucedo: The fussy phase of leap 5 usually has a duration of 4 weeks, but it can last anywhere from 1 to 5 weeks. You can expect leap 5 to occur during week 23 (based on baby’s due date) but there is a margin of +/- 2 weeks. Here’s what you can expect during leap 5: 1. Your baby will likely have a need for more attention and physical contact during this leap. They will want you to stay near them, play with them & moreso want to be constantly entertained. During this leap you may notice your baby being more attached to you - wanting to be held more frequently. 2. Your baby may be more fussy during diaper changes or when left alone. They simply don’t want anything to change. It’s normal for them to cry and usually doesn’t mean they are in pain or uncomfortable. 3. Your baby will become less interested in food during this leap.
