the freezer came with a flat rubber spoon like stuff that is useful in this kind of situation, using knife is very dangerous and can destroy your freezer. be careful

As a HVAC technician I am almost screaming.. STOOOOOOOP!!!!! Never do that again... you are going to perforate the evaporator coils in the freezer and it's gonna be bad
