Great stuff. The only thing I slightly disagree with is “we get A’s in this family”. It’s been proven that the pressure of all “A’s” rules in kids taking easier classes and not challenging themselves. I told my kids th standard is a certain GPA which will get you into most colleges, so then they took some really hard honors courses and got a B or C, but mostly A’s. They are now very successful adults. Focus on effort more than results

Agree! Report cards were my kids way to earn money. We expected As and paid for As. No money for Bs. And took away money for Cs. They chose to never make a C. And rarely did we ever see B. Great grades led to great scholarships and eventually great jobs

Trying so dang hard!!! As an older parent…My expectations and that which my kids are surrounded by in society is waaaay different.🤦🏻♀️Some days are harder than others to hold the bar.
