@louishowardpt: homemade chia jam Solid 9/10! Easy and banging!…. Just like your mu…. Ingredients: Frozen mixed berries 600 g Chia seeds 80 g Maple syrup 60 ml Cooking steps 1. Add the frozen berries to a small saucepan on a low to medium heat. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully defrosted, soft and juicy. 2. Mash the berries with the back of a fork or a potato masher. Go smooth or chunky depending on vibe. 3. Stir in the maple syrup while still warm and mix well. 4. Remove from the heat, add the chia seeds and stir thoroughly so they’re evenly distributed. 5. Leave to cool and thicken. Around 20 to 30 minutes on the counter or chuck it in the fridge to speed things up. 6. Once thickened, it’s ready to use. Credit: @caileeeeats ig
Okay, hear me out because I made jam all the time and no one even knows it's sugar-free, I use allulose and monk fruit and freshberries or frozen. And it tasted amazing without any added sugars

I’ve seen a few of your videos now and I love how you give the grams. In the US it’s uncommon but I feel like it’s so much more accurate if you’re trying to cook to lose weight.

I get so excited to make jam and then realise no one else in my house will eat the jam and it’ll just sit in the fridge until I eventually admit defeat and throw it out 😭😅

You can do this and not use the stove. Just put the frozen fruit in a bowl on the counter until it’s slightly thawed, add honey/maple syrup, lemon and chia and let it thaw completely then mash. No reason to heat it up at all.
