their tunes are junk from factory as well i put a new one in went with ams oil from day one and had it tuned the day I had it done has almost 300k on it now with over 600 hp no problem 6l80 when mine went out it was the torque converter I also had to do a bypass on the cooler so it runs at 120 140 not 175 to 190 like it did factory

snap ring came out of the 1234 clutch and it could have a old little check ball stuck in the valve body resticking flow to the 1234 clutch

I have a 2017 f150 limited 3.5 I’m having electrical problems with it right now when I go to start the truck with the push button start inside the cab it will throw cross traffic blind spot and all that codes so I turn it off then back on and it goes away but if I do that the 3rd brake light stays on when driving and won’t turn off and so does the tailgate lights and the tailgate won’t open unless the truck is off. Today they started to flicker and my inside passenger front door limited light started to flicker to. Can anyone please help me out here or has had the same problem. Thank you

pretty sure the old school transmission has steel check balls not plastic. from watching Precision Transmission when they had a good YT channel

6l80 doing 6l80 things. we had a 14 and a 15 drop the tranny at nearly the same time last year. both trucks didnt throw codes the trans just checked out.
