@allisonsayswhat: PSA: If you’re phone suddenly stops working you might be a victim of the SIM SWAP/ PORT OUT SCAM. You MUST act fast when this happens. Here’s the exact steps I took to get my phone number back in 5 days and prevented any monetary loss. 1. Freeze all of your bank and credit cards 2. Freeze all three credit bureaus immediately. 3. Call your carrier’s fraud department from a different phone and report it. & Add a port-out PIN. 4. File a police report with your local city police dept 5. File a fraud report with the FTC 6. File a phone carrier complaint with the FCC. I pray this never happens to anyone but save this video incase it does.
