Win+R key. Type Cmd. Hit enter. Type ioconfig /all and hit enter. Look for your eth0 or eth1 etc connections. See if you have an IP. If not you may have a bad Ethernet port. Do this after trying other troubleshooting steps. Trying other cables. Turning off and on router etc.

Network controller might have gone bad. mine did as well. grab a USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapter on Amazon. or a PCIe to Ethernet card

someone pls help me bro. my pc hasn’t been working for the past week. i connected to the internet but everytimw when i play a game i would get disconnect and my internet would say connecting at 1 bar and then when i try to connect it again it wouldn’t let me connect it again i tried everything i can. plugging out the cords out of my pc, the networks reset, the commands. pls bro im crashing out

My Ethernet is not working on my PC. The LAN cable is connected, but Windows says “Unplugged.” The Ethernet port lights turn on when the PC is off, but they turn off as soon as I start the PC. It was working normally yesterday, but today it suddenly stopped working.

you can try downloading the network driver on a flash drive and reinstall it

For simpler solution: try a new Ethernet cable if not may as well look into it some more on Reddit etc. or just get a pcie to Ethernet card
