For the jumpseat, if you ask they will certainly deny. You can still get the jumpseat but you need to make a letter presenting yourself and your passion for aviation. I did that, gave my letter to the flight attendants while boarding and they brought me to the cockpit mid-flight. So yeah you need to make a letter in order to get the jumpseat. Now if you want to go to the cockpit at the end of the flight while the engines are off, you can simply ask.

No airline in the world would allow a member of the public onto a flight deck for security reasons. Before 9/11 it was common practice but a pilot would be sacked nowadays if he allowed it

You can’t allow general public on flt deck during flight. However watching this clip it might be in the sim as there’s something not crowing the visuals as it’s a bit blurry
