*sigh* I miss Dragon Ball. Back when it was personal and not destroying planets and universes. Earth. It feels so far away now. Just used as a battle ground now. Daima helped ground the Buu arc back to Earth and the Demon Realm. But Super feels too far from martial arts, like it has no end. Omnipotence isn’t what Dragon Ball is about. I think the real savior of Dragon Ball could be filler. Showing the lives of the Z fighters. Uniting them again to truly care for Earth, while the saiyans continue to get stronger. Protecting the universe, but also teaching others how to be a Z fighter as well. Give us fighting, but give us character arcs and personal growth that strengthens characters that have been so horribly sidelined. Tenshinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Krillin w/ 18 and Marron. Trunks and Goten. I personally think continuing to flesh out these characters can bring back the heart of Dragon Ball and give everyone what they want.
