@kimberlys_journey: At home Valentines dinner date 🤍✨ Steak Bites with a protein pepper sauce - the perfect valentines date at home date idea 💖 For two people: - 2 pieces of steak For the potatoes - 400g maris piper potatoes - Salt, pepper - Tsp paprika & garlic granules Pepper Protein Sauce - 1–2 tsp cracked black pepper - 1 small onion or shallot - 300ml & 1 scoop @morenutrition.uk protein cream powder - 1 crumbled oxo cube Start off by cooking your potatoes, cut them into small cubes, boil for 4 mins & then add to your airfryer add all the seasonings and some spray oil and cook in the airfryer for 20 minutes until they are nice and crispy. Whilst the potatoes cook, prep & cook the steak. Heat a frying pan with spray oil, add the steaks. I cook mine for around 3.5 mins each side (we like them medium rare and the length of time to cook will also depend how thick your meat is). Add salt & pepper to the steaks as they cook and once they are done remove from the pan and leave to rest on a chopping board for 5 mins before cutting into bite size pieces. For the sauce add butter or spray in pan on medium heat. Add onion and cracked black pepper, cook until soft, then add garlic, cook for 30 seconds. Mix the water with the protein cream, add this to the pan bring to a gentle simmer. Lower heat. Add the oxo cube and adjust to taste with salt and pepper. Arrange potatoes on a plate.
