I have been meaning to patch my favourite pair of socks like this… do you think the weaving gadget helps?? I was tempted to give it a go without it.

Is there a strict limit to the length of the weave or is it more just a limit based on how you have secured it/stretched it over the disc/macaroon thing? In theory if you had a massive disc could you sew a patch much longer?

do you have any tips for the edge of the sleeves of sweaters? like the fold at the very end is always almost fully gone on my favorite sweater.. I never considered fixing it (I just wear it like this lol) but is there a technique for that too?

I love adding cute patches to my clothes as they get worn. I get friends to make me little crochet hearts and flowers and sew them on :)

Small PSA for anyone reading who’s new to repairing clothes: with a little patience you can darn in shapes - like hearts and stars and bats - so you end up with a cute addition over the hole 🥰
