I spent my whole school life eating everyday a cheese sandwiches with butter on white bread, a packet of sultanas and 2 arrowroot biscuits bc that’s all I would eat and I turned out fine IMHO 😂

Back in my day we were sent to school with lunchables, dunkaroos, and blue pop tops! If we had fruit it was an unwashed apple not cut up nicely 🤣 Your lunches are great Fidan! 🥰

As parents we know what our kids will and won’t eat. If a meal is lacking in a particular area, it will be made up for at another meal. No big deal

As an early childhood teacher who sees some SHOCKING lunch boxes that barely have any fruit or even a sandwich and are entirely full of lollies and 100% packaged snacks you’re doing GREAT!! Parents need to give their kids what they’ll eat for sure, but you’re also encouraging great healthy choices within the scope of what your kids like!! Protein, fruit, carbs, dairy, and a couple of nice treats…can’t ask for much more!
