Hosas for me, but I have the Omni-directional from VKB for my left stick so it’s kind of a hybrid between hosas and Hotas

I use hosas but with a z bar on the left, left stick used as a throttle but also has left and right axis for strafing, not sure what it's called but it's a hybrid of the two

I use the VKB Omni Throttle. Basically a joystick that’s ergonomically shaped like a throttle. It’s a good happy medium of the two.
