@physiowardsports.rehab: Heel pain often builds up when the tissues under the foot are overloaded for long periods. This can happen with lots of standing, walking, running, or sudden changes in activity. Over time, the area becomes sensitive and sore, especially first thing in the morning or after rest. Calf strength and calf control matter more than people realise. The calf muscles help absorb load and reduce stress through the heel and foot. Slow, controlled exercises help the foot handle load better, not just feel looser for a short time. If heel pain keeps coming back or is stopping you from walking comfortably, a physio can help work out what your foot needs next. 📍 Clinics in Narrabeen, Brookvale & Newport, Australia 👉 Send us a message to book your appointment, or use the link in our bio ⚠️ General information only. KaelDeez :
Had mine from football - kept getting calf seizures mid game, the game the plantar fasciitis. 💯 these calf stretches are both great for injury recovery and prevention. To get these stretches more targeted and focussed I picked up a Bam Athletica slant board off Amazon. Love this little tool - keep it by the bed for a few calf stretches in the morning, and right before bed. Since then make improvements and no more seizures in my calf ❤️💪 Thanks for sharing these stretches as I’m such an advocate for these simple yet effective stretches!
