Froze my eggs at 33 when I was single and dethawed them at age 38 and fertilized them. My frozen eggs worked but I have heard it’s less for frozen than fresh. 21 retrieved, 18 fertilized, 6 blasts, 2 euploids— 1 live birth pregnant with second.

In my opinion, it’s better to retrieve a higher number of eggs, at least 30 or even 40, especially if a woman has conditions like PCOS, rather than create embryos that might have to be discarded if the relationship doesn’t work out 🙏🏼

Hi, but in some countries e.g. in Germany it is not allowed to freeze an embryo. But your message is fully correct. That is why I decided to become a Solomom and not wait until end of 30s for motherhood because I had to make the decision to become a mother in the next two years regarding my AMH level or freezing my eggs and become a mom later when I have maybe a partner. But, you don’t know if you have a partner who wants to have a child because men want children less and less, I decided to do it on my own now because now I’m young enough to handle it.
