you’re not necessarily wrong, malcom was radical and didn’t want to integrate INITIALLY, but after he traveled to mecca he understood that people of all backgrounds CAN coexist, and he aligned more with that philosophy by the time he was assassinated

this sounds pretty random but hear me out. I would say that both complement each other, just think of it. MLK Jr is more about integration, unity, and more right? Well, Malcolm X's message was about self determination, pride, and resistance, both are actually necessary to achieve civil rights, Malcolm X brought the necessary foundation which is resistance, pride, etc, and MLK Jr. was the one who brought the path for a legal change
