I just graduated. I can’t find a job ANYWHERE. Nonstop rejections. The market is too saturated and competitive. I have several projects under my belt and I was basically the technical project manager of my capstone project and still can’t find anything. It’s heartbreaking

The degree was already very over saturated. For years, you had people picking the degree because they saw it as easy money and nothing else. CS has had climbing unemployment even before AI and even ranked in the top 10 most under employed majors.

Genuinely sucks. While I was in middle school and high school, we were all pushed into robotics and coding. Now the degree is getting pointless 😔

except that's not the reason. in 2025 there was roughly 180k job ads with majority of them being in healthcare. other industries either were flat or lost roles. this is due to offshoring and the macro economic environment
