Right. Lemme just make the writers job easier. While I also have to make parts life easier by looking up, printing and ordering parts. Then they just take it elsewhere because rates too high 👌

So you improperly measured the brake pads, didn’t measure all 4 tires, didn’t check the light bulbs, you competed a 4 wheel alignment but no mention of rear specs or adjustments, rotated the tires AFTER rotating the tires, where’s the photos of cabin filter/air filter if not replaced at the 10k service(not sure if that’s still part of TAC) A lot of stuff was missed during this “MPI”.

Absolutely not… it’s not my job to market for the dealership. The service advisor/writer or porter can walk out and record that crap. None of them are on rate.

If all I do is tires and brakes The dealership is in more financial trouble than me. And I will be cooked. These have a place. Just not every car. You think a 2001 audi needs a free video? Rust and leaks. Looks scary.

When I worked at Midas every car had to have a multi point inspection with pictures. No extra pay on it. And you get paid 14% of total bill, so on a $90 oil change I’d still be expected to do the inspection on it that would take 20 mins because the software is horrible.

We get .2 for our video an multipoint inspection, which techs also build the estimate to tell parts what we need an labor times cuz we cant trust parts or service advisors.

Hmmm… for 0.50hrs PAID you’d expect a video inspection showing all the tires, underneath the rear, mid and front sections of the vehicle also the most important part, in the engine compartment. But bare minimum video to get paid 🤔……… I’m in 😈
