️ :

if i’m correct cheetah’s are one of the less dangerous big cats out there i may be wrong tho

ф :

They can hurt you but they don’t hunt humans

Plain Jane 🐝✝️ :

Fun fact! Cheetahs have the largest lungs of any cat (relative to body-size) so they can maintain high speeds for quite a while!

𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒐 :

I love Cheetahs

H𝗈𝗅lyᖭི༏ᖫྀ༝꩜ :

they are more timid and not as strong as other big cats so humans tried to capture cheetahs and train them to hunt with them. eventually we got bored and decided to hunt THEM instead because they were easy targets. that is part of why there are so few now. :(

Fun fact! Cheetahs spend ~half an hour resting after a hunt due to the overexertion they put on their body! Their body temperature gets too high, and they typically don’t eat until they’re cooled off [cute]

titania :

another fun fact! they purr like housecats (only much deeper and louder)

MiniPagan :

My most favorite wild cat, ever since I got a cheetah plush as a kid and watched a Wild Kratts episode on them, I was super hooked.

cider :

cheetahs are so tuff

⋆🐾°HOMURA⋆🐾° :

I LOVE CHEETAHS

Spamton G. Spamton :

cheetahs can't fully retract their claws like other cats, it helps them be able to run as fast as they can

How did you manage to make cheetahs sound imposing?? Their little hisses are so sad 😭

Fiona Frauenfeld :

It’s such a shame cheetahs got so nerfed they had so much potential 😔

spamimikiki :

she’s such a diva holy shit

Jayceford Pines - COMMS OPEN :

Cheetahs actually aren't classified as big cats because they can't roar

Denka's opinion :

SpookyBoo :

Anyone else understand how dangerous big cats are but love that about them? They’re teeth are so beautiful
