@explainedbyjq: Not all local brands serve the same market.

What’s off lang minsan sa mga local, they charge to high na akala mo they’ve been in the industry for a decade. I hope na i-build muna nila yung loyalty ng customer because quality talaga ang product and services. Kasi pwede naman sila mag increase later or shift into a premium brand.

True but I hope some Filipino brands also consider the average Filipino as a target market which is the majority of us.

Isa pa kasi sa problema bakit mahal ang local brands ay dahil sa dami rin ng binabayaran nila like taxes, permits etc. kaya ang only way nila para kumita ay taasan ang presyo.

untapped market not overpriced. It can only be overpriced if you are buying a brand. This also may also goes to show na maliit pa sila to leverage their costing. Nonetheless if it is pricey then you are not the untended market or unrealized market.

Pero bat yung quality compare sa foreign brand is malayo like maraming akong nakikita ng clothing na na literally sa divisoria lang nila kinukuha then pprintan nila ng own brand nila. tapos panget quality.

You charge the product premium, and in most cases overpriced and then you hide from the statement na “hindi ikaw ang target market” and you boast your product as local.

hindi siya lesson tbh kasi they just blame their fellow pilipino for "not supporting" their expensive local brands. kasalanan daw natin kasi ayaw sumuporta ng lokal. pero pag kinwestiyon ang presyo sasabihin di tayo target market. so ano na? ka8080han na lang

Honestly i get ung "support local pero di affordable for locals?", BUT as you said there are affordable local and expensive local but also ang daming affordable local na nalulugi ksi di pa nila kaya mag mass produce tapos dina-downplay nila ung sariling kita. I've made that mistake before. Taxes pa nga lang and ecommerce platforms mahal na. Di talaga kakayanin na cheap price.
