no no no...I was like that, quit all skincare. morning light water, no sunscreen, nothing. after washing buy a geek and gorgeous Happier Barrier creme and use small amount. Night - wash with something for very sensitive skin, max 20 sec and then apply again geek and gorgeous Happier Barrier small amout, like pea size, tap tap only. I was like you and this helped me alot

Remember that if your skin is trapping any heat or inflammation, which it looks like it is, slathering on these highly occlusive barrier creams are going to make it 10x worse. Go back to the very basics, the avene thermal spray, is more than enough after a gentle cleanser!

Ignore the comments recommending Avene Cicalfate or La Roche Posay Cicaplast. Your skin is red and inflamed, the last thing it needs is a heavy balm trapping in heat. Strip back your skin to bare bones, use SPF in the morning, something non comedogenic. At night get some fragrance free micellar water to cleanse off SPF/makeup, next use a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil or Cerave, lastly use a light moisturiser (non pore clogged) Purito do a fantastic oat gel cream, or something light and simple from Cetaphil or even Simple will work just as well. Stick to it and you will see improvement.

What happened? There are so many products but depends on skin type and the issue.

Wash face with just water, and use a fragrance free moisturiser, I found cerave lotion good as sometimes the creams can be too heavy! Avene cicalfate cream is good as well x

Simplify your skincare routine to the absolute basics, moisturizer and spf morning time and just moisturizer in the evenings. Use a mild cleanser only once every day, just use water in the mornings. And before your moisturizer use a thermal water like Avene's to calm your skin

Hi, I just cleansing with water for a while and spraying some thermal water then putting on a ceramide rich cream (like zeroid intensive rich cream md) on damp skin helps a lot. Hope this helps ❤️💕

Azelaic acid like Azclear lotion, after a gentle moisturiser. Finish with a barrier repair moisturiser. But yes it will take weeks, in my experience, to have a major change x

Sudocream. I have had many people tell me not to use it. However, It has calmed my acne and I believe repaired my skin barrier. My skin loves it .

Not sudo cream or cicoplast if you are prone to clogging. Abib barrier repair or oat gel/panthenol cream (latter can be clogging for some) from Pirito. Centella is also amazing.
