@anatomy.of.motion: If you have hyperkyphosis in your thoracic spine, it's not only an aesthetic issue, but also a ventilation one. Your ribs are connected to the spine, which means that when the thoracic portion of it curves, it pulls the ribs back. At the same time, the additional curvature which was created in the upper thoracic spine pushes the upper part of the rib cage downward. This effectively decreases your lung capacity, which in turn translates to worse ventilation performance. Take care of the space available for your lungs, and they will keep you healthy.
