You don't need to do anything with Wayland settings anymore anyways, with or without gamescope. Full fps in my games with hyprland without gamescope.

I use x11 Cachy Os Pure Bore with lavd , for stretched CS2 I use nvidia metadata view port , have more constantly than gamescoope . wayland isn't so good , the problem on nvidia i don't find i cannot add in menu GPU scalling

im still not sure wether to try any of this. im running pop os, jus installed steam on a system with a 3060ti. had a game with sound, but now i found th fix i jus copy and paste th instruction on any new game install thru steam. its running fine, but would it run better? i dunno if its gunna screw me over later.

honestly I just use lxde, xorg only needs like 100 something megabytes of vram and I don't have to worry about compositors
