What is going on :

There is a fundamental distinction you are missing: 'Who Allah is' (His Essence) is one thing, and 'What Allah can do' (His Power) is another. Allah, in His Essence, is Perfect and transcendent above all deficiency. Shifting from being God to becoming a human is a 'transition from perfection to imperfection,' which is impossible for Allah because His Essence is unchanging and eternal. What Allah can do (His Power) does not mean He does what contradicts His Perfection; He does not oppress, He does not sleep, and He does not become weak (like humans), because these deficiencies do not befit 'Who Allah is.' Power pertains to what is possible, whereas Allah's Essence is constant in its Majesty and does not transform.
