Raised beds are good for several reasons: 1. Established trees and lots of roots that would be difficult to work with 2. Poor soil conditions that would take years to try and correct with amendments 3. Age and difficulties going to ground level allows for ease of tending

HOW did you fill that deep of a bed?! Was that expensive to do???? Mine are like 1/3 of that and are next to impossible keep filled.
