@zephane_idv: we only have her 1st birthday letter for now but it includes four letters from camilla to wendy and wendy's own weather reports. from what i understand, wendy met camilla in college. they were academic rivals at first. camilla seems like an ambitions young woman that wanted to surpass wendy, but we see even in the first letter that she's ready to stand by wendy against the people who apperantly trouble her. they're not ennemies but they have a really cute rivalry going on 🤧 letter two shows us that they built the observatory that camilla mentioned in letter one. it's a little tin cabin by the hills where the two of them study meteorology together. camilla is glazing the hell out of wendy and her scientific work 🥹 in letter three, camilla informs wendy that her parents want her to return home for the harvest. she was already feeling down after a paper she wrote was rejected, and with her family demanding she drop her studies and threatening to cut their financial support otherwise, she decides to leave the observatory and go back home... in the final letter we learn that she had gotten married. wendy attended her wedding, and even delivered a speech, in which she mentioned how lonely and tired she was without camilla 😭 wendy's mother has fallen ill and camilla volunteers to take care of her while wendy travels to ireland for work. she even gives her some money from her savings for the trip. camilla encourages wendy to continue her research and tells her that she can always count on her for support. she also tells wendy that she's pregnant, and that she remembers wendy's expression in her wedding day like it was yesterday.... she ends the letter with "yours most faithfully" IM SORRY BUT PUTTING THAT IN AT THE END OF A LETTER WHERE SHE SAID SHE'S MARRIED AND EXPECTING A CHILD IS INSANE WORK.
