I am Gen X and f-ing HATE overhead lighting at home and especially at work. I was lucky enough to have my own office so I didn't have turn on lights, then I WFH (which was the absolute best), but now I am in a smaller office where we have the lights off 85% of the time and I have a cubicle leaf for the 15% when the Area Manager is there.
