Okay this happened to us with delta! When we got to the gate, I went and talked with the lady at the desk and they switch it right away!

They will literally fix this at check in at the airport or ah the gate: they legally cannot let the kid sit by themselves lol they have to fix it but just wait and don’t stress

I do not understand how is 2026 and the system doesn't automatically check to make sure that young children are seated with an adult in their party.

I say put them in their seats! I promise once they see two toddlers by themselves they will make adjustments! Especially after you tell them you did everything possible to try and change it!!

This is horrible! Waiting to ask the other person is not the right answer. If I was the other person I would do it but would be so annoyed delta would even think it’s acceptable to put a toddler by themselves!

Had the same thing happen few days ago with united. Seated me and my 2year old separate on a 11 hour flight. Had to pay $92 to book us together after paying 3k for our tickets. Ridiculous
