@outdoorsykensy: Looking for a new spot to go off-roading? 📌 Save this spot for future planning! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 📍Shotgun Creek, Marcola OR 🚗 30 minutes from Eugene and 2 hours from Portland 🌲 30 miles for forest trails through over 8,000 acres of BLM land ❗️2 staging areas that are open year round 🎟️ $10 Oregon State ATV permit required This wasn’t the first time we’ve been out to Shotgun Creek and it definitely won’t be the last! As of January 31st, one of the main trails that loops around the area was covered in the down trees. We were told by another rider to just turn back but we had a chainsaw and winches with us so the guys spent 2 hours clearing the area for everyone! We had a blast out here even though it wasn’t very muddy with the dry winter we’ve had. It was pretty busy in the afternoon and officers were out checking for OHV permits so make sure you had one with your OHV card!
