Post Mormon here; I developed severe ocd and scrupulosity as a child and it was a battle to get through, even today

Yep. He would pray with my friends before recording sessions. Also, I don't think that's "bad" cuz I always make sure I've grounded myself when I record. Prayer can be grounding for some.
