Nissan tech here. If the replacement compressor is aftermarket this will cause this issue due to the variable rate compressor being internally not the same and overcooling. The compressor will run with the heat on if the vehicle is equipped with auto a/c system. Something to check

2012 Toyota Camry. I had our car in the dealership shop twice for the air conditioner not putting out cold air. The second time they quoted me over $2000 and needed to remove the dash to solve the problem. I found out it was a dirty clogged Cabin filter. This is why people don’t trust auto repair shops.

When you put too much oil in an ac system, you are effectively reducing the volume of the system. So when you charge it to the amount specified by the manufacturer, it is actually overcharged. It is so important, especially on today’s vehicles, to use the correct amount of oil.

Dad, had commented from time to time, how the aircraft air conditioning would be great for awhile until the humidity in Vietnam would stop the cooling. All frozen up for the rest of the warm flight. I have witnessed the foggy conditions of C130 cargo planes in very humid weather, but never the failure he experienced.

hmm 🤔 not sure about the oil amount in the compressor. when the evaporator sensor gets that low, the ac compressor should cycle off to prevent freezing

Why didn’t you remove the filter and see if that helped airflow first
