40 years ago, before internet and tiktok, I had an idea called "getting an education" and I wanted to go around and interview everyone I found interesting. I live in a rural oklahoma town, without a stop light. less than 1000 ppl. it's the town from the movie "footloose" lol 😆 we can dance here now. i am not college educated, ive only been out of town twice. I am what you'd call "redneck poor" which just means working class with no money. I find you all fascinating. I will check out your books and interviews. where I live there are brilliant ppl who are war veterans who live long lives, they are so smart, the kind who learned by living not in a classroom. I have their stories in my head because they have passed on. I love your premise and wish that I had made my idea come true back then. I let raising children and working to eat take all my days. but I have more time now and you have inspired me to try again. glad I found you all. tiktok has been my classroom in a lot of ways. 🥰
