But at the same time, officers shouldn't be dispatched to situations like this without being informed of the situation/mental health issues first so they can respond differently. I'm assuming the parents told the dispatcher that the son was autistic & would need special care. So definite negligence on the dispatchers part

people need to realise most cops hate having to shoot some one. that's why in most bodycam videos the officer involved in the shooting starts crying. it's not easy talking a life especially a kids life
