Had mine taken out 20 years ago. Went back to work after 1 week. And no I didn’t have a desk job. I eat what I want when I want with minimal problems.

Easy peasy, went home a couple hours after. A little painful initially but went to work 1 week later. No more stones and shooting pain. Still have steatorrhea though. 1 month out from surgery.
