We can say this but it's the same with history/school books. We never questioned that. Now that's we're older we learned about so many things that weren't true. Or as u said revised , translated , and edited multiple times to be something different.... people are so focused on proving how it's wrong rather than finding what's true THEMSElVES. The key is ur experiences

There’s been literal studies and research that proves Jesus was once alive, events in the Bible were true, and sacred text passed down translated that matches. Ofc not everything but u can quite literally say this point for any religion, but Christianity has endless research that proves else

I feel like it is true even tho the stories are a bit hard to believe but the Bible teaches us the Cause and Effects in life. If we talking about the sins we can also see where it takes us in life. It talks about how to live. The 10 commandments also makes sense if we apply it in real time. I feel like a lot of it is metaphorical especially revelation. The stories like Adam n eve teaches us the the after result of being tempted and tempting your partner also what happens when you doubt. Cain and Abel teaches us about jealousy and how far it can get and the result of it. Job shows us that everything we have is not actually ours and within a split second everything could be gone n teach us to have faith and challenges ur mental state…while also having to start from 0 and keep going which is applicable in this time too…so even if the stories are hard to believe I take the lessons from the Bible and also apply it to my life…teaches us to forgive others even yourself. To be aware of our surrounding and trust no one but The Lord. But that’s just me I get where ur coming from.
