and even if it is a "stepping stone" job they should still get paid enough to cover their bills and basic needs. Because the "step up" "better" job is upposed to be good enough to pay for basics AND some luxuries. or else whats the point of going into debt at school for a degree if the end result is just survival?

They call McDonald’s a “teenager” job and then get mad when they’re short staffed during the day. Because yeah, they need more than teenagers to run their business. It’s not just a “stepping stone” it’s a JOB. You should be able to pay your rent with that
