This video isn’t here to shame any of you guys, it’s more to shed light on companies that still hide the fact they use animal testing. The brands in this video aren’t considered cruelty-free in 2025. Loads of them sell in places like China where animal testing is still required by law for some products, so even if they don’t directly test everywhere, they still allow it to happen. That’s why they lose their cruelty-free status. Some brands claim they are “cruelty-free” because they personally don’t conduct animal tests and might not do so in their home country but if they authorize animal testing elsewhere, this still means animals are harmed. True cruelty-free organisations do not accept this loophole and remove certifications if a brand allows animal testing anywhere 🤍🙏🏽 Larger companies can change if they want to, Dove is a great example for this. They once tested on animals, but in 2023 they got earned their cruelty free status! 🫶🏽 I don’t expect anyone to throw away everything in sight just because they might own some of these products, it’s more about educating so you can make the right switches once you know. It’s been a learning journey for me too and I continue to research the subject daily. Finding alternatives I actually love & like is part of the process. We’re all human and can fall for things when it comes to marketing, as it can be so sneaky! I’ve been there, but in 2025 there’s endless products that work just as good. Here some examples of my fav brands which *DON'T* test on animals: •Elf cosmetics @elfcosmetics •Milk makeup @milkmakeup •R.e.m beauty @r.e.m.beauty •Euthymol (toothpaste) @euthymol.uk •Bio-D (household) •Lush cosmetics •Faith in nature @faithinnature_uk •Bio One @bio_one_uk •Astonishing cleaners @astonishcleaners •Sol de Janerio @soldejaneiro •My little coco @mylittlecoco •Purdy & Figg @purdyandfigg •Soltonsun care •. Ocean saver @oceansaverdrops •. Seep @theseepcompany • Florence by Mills @florencebymills There's lots more alternatives, also app which is good for checking is called 'crueltycutters' @crueltycutter or check @leapingbunnyprogram @peta & @crueltyfreekitty lists Peace & Love Rem oxo
