The “Deminsh” means dimension= landscape perspective. The road that is wide at the bottom of the paper and smaller in the background creates a visual of “up close and far away.” As an art teacher of 33 years I started teaching these concepts with fourth grade but not with watercolors. Adding the watercolor techniques makes this a more advanced lesson.
