This has sth to do with the verb as transitive verb, where the verb needs a direct Object. However before (archaic) sometimes the verb crave was used with “for”. In addendum, there is a noun confusion, u may used for after u used crave as noun. Otherwise, different case pag verb ung gamit.

I think wala namang mali? Subjective for the word “craving” and for are “preposition” so kumbaga yung (ice cream, milktea and etc. ) are additives like for example “ I’m craving (subjective) for (preposition) Pizza (pizza is additives words) basically ( I’m craving for pizza )

Maybe this is correct in American English grammar. However, we have Philippine English and World Englishes exist. This study explains why other English usage (including Ph English) are also considered correct and not a mistake. I hope you'll study and check that as well. Have a good day. ☺
