@sethiings: It’s kind of interesting how one Filipino word can mean two completely different things. Same spelling.
Sometimes just a shift in pronunciation. 
But once you translate it, the meaning changes completely.
And so does the weight. Basa — rain or read.
Buhay — alive or life.
Mahal — expensive or love. Out of all of them, mahal hits different. Because when you love something, it will ask something from you. 
Time you can’t get back.
Energy you have to choose to give.
