School failed me, and i failed the school. Not because i couldnt learn, but because i refused to learn on command. It bored me, the teacher marched like Belleville seargants, training us for exams not for life. I wanted knowledge they wanted numbers. I hated the competition especially sports where worth was measured in wins and losses, and somehow i was always the loss. They told me i wasn’t worth much, more than much they suggested i leave- it was a catholic school. Funny how my thirst for knowledge felt like a sin there. Grade were their only language. So tell me, how does a system like that supposed to understand youth? By 12 i have already learned the real lesson. Question Authority, distrust teacher who fear curiosity. -Albert Einstein.
