Our daughter plays club August though June. So July is for camps and extra lessons.

Off season?? Never heard of it 🥴 We do private hitting lessons. Private strength and conditioning a couple times a week. We do local camps at colleges to get her name out there and keep in contact with local athletes as well as camps at her dream schools in other states. If we travel a longer distance, we try to get into the camps that are several days to a week long.

I’ve hired a personal trainer that works with my daughter twice a week during season and three times a week off-season. Completely separate from Volleyball. This is just a weightlifting instructor who is a former D1 athlete herself. Also between school ball and travel volleyball there’s not much of an off-season but during that time she plays beach volleyball for her school. I have a regulation net set up in my backyard we practice hard quite a bit. In closing, set yourself up with a nutritional specialist learn how to fuel your athlete.

What off season? Club runs from Dec-end of June. High school season runs from July to Dec.

Also remember - practice is for the TEAM to get better not your kid to get better. If you aren’t doing additional sessions outside of practice the individual players won’t get better
