As a Mazda owner (CX-30) you definitely get used to the dial… I think Mazda was a little late to the touch screen game IMO, now it seems like car manufacturers are bringing buttons back while Mazda is doing the opposite

I have a 2025 CX-5 Premium Plus and really like the buttons and knobs for climate control. Not a fan of the new 2026 screen having all the controls.

Of course Mazda fans are not gonna like this. They bought it because they liked the dials and didn’t mind the tiny screen. On the other hand, the only thing that prevented me from getting a Mazda was the tiny screen and dials. This design changed will bring in new fans who do not like tiny screens and dials. For those who do, you can always choose any of their other models.

There’s a reason every other manufacturer is going back to physical controls, especially for climate control. I hate the new touchscreen, lack of climate control buttons, and no knob. Gonna hold onto my ‘21 turbo until they get their heads back in the game

I want the buttons! I have a 2014 Mazda Cx-5. I don't want all that tech stuff. I guess when I replace my 2014 in the future I'll get an older model.

Honestly I went back to Mazda after a year with the 2023 Honda CRV hybrid because I missed the dials. The dials are a huge selling point.

That’s so disappointing. I hate the Teslafication of car interiors. It’s just boring and lazy in my opinion. And so impractical. I shouldn’t have to be going through different screens to find certain things. 🙄

I think this really sucks for older drivers. My grandma loves her Cx5, but when her lease is up, I don’t forsee her being able to maneuver this one.
